Dennis McClung aka SYN started off as a raver listening to everything but dnb. then one December at a rave in New Orleans he saw 187, AK1200, and Monk from Rabbit in the Moon all play dnb on the mainstage of the state palace theatre and was hooked after that. Syn purchased his first set of tables (crappy Numarks) not long after that rave. The year was in 1999. After playing for a decade he put them away for several years yet he never lost his love for the music and five years ago started playing once again. Hailing from Baton Rouge Louisiana (Cajun country) he likes to call his mixes gumbo dnb because he is liable to mix in a little of each sub genre of the music which drives him.
